Rainy Season...

Exam was ridiculously... not too bad. I was surprised actually. I thought it would be extremely hard because the lecture notes were far from user-friendly. But thank God, everything was fine.

I left the exam hall today and went to meet the guys at Taurean. Hung out there - and somehow today, it felt like KL. Probably because of how the people there could care less whether they were sitting so close to you or not, that it felt crowded... well.. yeah - something like that.

Rain came down heavy again - like extremely heavy. Lastnight, the underpass under the huge roundabout in Kiulap was flooded - and I mean flooded. Macam kampong ayer wah. And because of this rain, I was stuck at work again. Stayed until 10.30 today then I got to go home.

On the way home, thanks to zool, I was craving for nasi katok lambak. Mcm sanggup wah aku ke sana, got out of my car into the rain, and ordered dua bungkus. But it was all worth it.

The picture you ask? It's this colourful cigarette santet was given. Pikirtah the smoke would be colourful. Tapi biasa saja. Oh well... 

Philosophy of it all

I had this conversation with noor lastnight - wait, a debate is more like it - about how she says 'Gadgets are Lifeless'. I asked her, What is 'life'? I realise that this isn't the first time I've had such a debate with someone. The other time, I debated with Debbie about 'Games are not educational'. Here I asked, What is 'education'?

Once, I even had a go at a lecture - which I can't remember what it was about. But he ended up making me write an essay to which I simply titled "Beyond Meanings". He ended up telling me that he was merely curious with what I had in mind (he made me go through all the frustrations just for that! but writing the essay was fun nonetheless). He told me to take up Philosophy of Language when I had the chance, and to study more on Semantics. I did... for a few weeks. After that, it was back to gaming for me. =p

Anyway, it struck me that most people sees words as what they actually represent and to what they are normally associated with. Life is life, and things that can think, feel, etc. is alive. What is not alive is obviously dead or lifeless. Education is education - and education is found in schools. But people are the ones that give words meanings. They define what each word should mean, and the product is what society has established as it's core meaning - which is what you see on the surface.

But if you see beyond it, everthing goes back to the root of it all. What is 'education'? Why do we have to go through this society defined 'education'? What is 'normal'? What is 'weird'? Why are we here? What's the meaning of life? What is life? Why is that nasi katok photo here?

That's nasi katok lambak. Really nice. Big chicked for something that costs a buck. This was my dinner.

Anyway, I guess - it is because I asked all these "Whats" and "Whys" that I am taking Philosphy this semester... but then... stupid me, I've only been attending it for 5times.

I have made it my life's goal to become a philosopher or a linguist, a master in semantics. But then, I wanna work in the gaming industry too. Oh... so many ambitions, so little opportunities.

Heavy Rain

Rain was pouring heavily almost the whole night. This photo was taken when I was on my way to Dome to meet santet&zool. I took this around the Beribi roundabout. The place was flooded - too bad you cant see it here. I had my windows up obviously, and I stopped the car ofcourse. But other cars were approaching from behind so I was only able to take this one photo. If you can see it clearly, the place was majorly flooded. Infact, that wasn't the only place. On my way to Dome alone, I had to go through three flooded areas.

Another night of Lepaking

Went to Dome again to hang after work. Came home almost twelve. The exam paper was easy, thank God. Tomorrow's gonna be hell.

I was in the mood to write earlier, but then I opted to go and revise first. But that kinda spoilt the mood and now my muse has disappeared - playing game somewhere perhaps. So I'll just give you more photos to look at tonight.

Oh btw, earlier, when I checked my hotmail email, my junk mail folder was full of ... well junks. These emails apparently came from info@brunet.bn, postmaster@yahoo.com etc. but infact they carry viruses. I haven't been receiving that plenty amount of junks for awhile, but today was just plain crazy. Sampai full wah hotmail storage capacity. The image below shows part of my junk mail folder. Thought I'd warn you guys so you won't try to open it.

This is how messed up this one corner of my room looks like. The gaming corner!! hahaha That's my laptop on the floor - my DVD writer on it's left - a canon printer on the floor on the far left corner and next to it (not in the photo) would be my desktop, then on top of it (not in photo) another printer. hmmmm apalagi?

Oh bellw those piles of DVDs would be my PS2 and Xbox... eh mana PSP ah? Oh right! It's to the right of the photo (not in photo), beside my laptop.

After the exams, I'll have to think of spring cleaning my room. Remember that Syaf!

The Beginning of the Last

Today is the first day of my last exam week in uni. I'm happy for that - but with that goes my uni life and here comes working life... or menganggur. Now if only the latter would bring me money... but alas, money doesn't come to you for free. Rats~

Voila! my exam hall... well the lobby area at least. This is where me and my friends usually hang out before an exam started. The things that happens there is just so... err... actually, nothing much really happens 'cept for people doing their last minute studying haha

Today's paper went pretty well - not too bad. Some areas were nasty but most were easy. It was a 3hr paper but I finished mine during the first hour. Then I started looking around and people were still writing! I was like "What the hell is wrong with these people?!" Wahahaaa! I didn't leave yet though - left at the 2hr mark coz I couldn't stand sitting there doing nothing. I hope I did alright but no use thinking about it now. What's past is past.

On the way home today, I bumped into Padil - he was in his car, parked at the chancellor hall's parking lot. We didn't get to talk coz I only took a glance of him since I was zooming pass his car, trying to catch up to a friend.

Spent the night after work at Dome with the guys (zool&santet), then my bros, sister and two uncles joined us. We were just hanging out talking - trying to play GTA multiplayer on the PSP but Santet's version didn't work with mine n my bro's. Too bad... it would've been cool.

Anyway, overall, not a bad day... =) 

Online Heaven on PSP

I have been, for the most part of the past three days, online on my PSP for hours playing SOCOM - sleeping at 5 or 6am due to it. Complaining about it? No way! It is the best damn thing ever to happy to me and my PSP.

I should be revising for my exams next week actually - but I just can't stop playing. I wake up, I login to SOCOM. I go to Taurean, I login to SOCOM. I go to work, I login to SOCOM. I come back home, I login to SOCOM. Online multiplayer and portability has never been such a great couple =D

Yesterday, I managed to convince my bro in Scotland to grab SOCOM. Today, we played against each other online. It was fun! It was as if he was just right here next to me, playing multiplayer. We were thrash talking, we were fraggin each other's asses - man... our gaming life has never felt better...

Trying to live so many lives

There's only so little thing that you can say in such a short time. I've got so much to say, so many things has happened, but I just cant think of how to describe everything in one post. But let me put down some thing first, and that's to answer "where have I been?"

Time is running short these days. I haven't skipped classes for awhile and I had assignments to deal with - that and then I've got my job at night. By the time I get back home, it's late and I get pretty tired because I didn't get enough sleep. In between, I play my games to relax my mind. It's been month beginning November - juggling life trying to fit in finishing my assignments, my social life, my gaming life, my working life, then my online life... there is just so little time to relax.

Raya kinda sucks for me. I took a lot of off days from work just trying to finish my assignments when I could've used that to raya - but I didn't. Then again, I'm not a raya kinda person - but it is kinda sad not to visit some people.

I'm trying to balance things a little here an there. This week is my study week, so hopefully I get to relax a little bit. Santet just came back and the three of us, including zool and i, are finally reunited after so long. And now, I'm hungry. People are missing me. What am I gonna do about my life?

Oh... I'm gonna stop here now. I wanna go and play SOCOM online on my PSP.
