There's just one thing I hate on twitter right now, people tweeting live World Cup actions. I mean, it's one thing to tweet abour news outside the game but really, you think you are the only one watching? And sometimes, some people just don't care!
Just imagine updating twitter only to get a torrent of football match reports! It's not easy to find actual tweets that matter. Let the pros report it. People don't follow you for your live World Cup updates. Stop it and just enjoy the freakin game.

while you've got a valid point there bro, it is also not possible dictate what people can or cannot post in a public timeline. everyone has the right and is free to say what they wish, as it is after all an open network. its the same like driving on a highway, you're bound to meet some errant drivers but there is not much you can do about it, you cant really tell them to stop driving their style and follow your way. but fret not, at least on twitter, you can simply unfollow/block anyone with tweets not to your liking :)
that is what annoys me. I can't stop them. nobody can. but yes, you are right - I can unfollow them, until the game's over =)
