Exactly A Year Ago Today

Exactly a year ago, I got my job.
Today marks my 1 year anniversary as a working man. And what happened a year later? Extremely busy, 7 days a week of work (I'm talking about this week - after a 6 day work last week). Exhausted much? I believe so. But the 29th of August doesn't only mark my career.

Exactly a year ago, this and this happened. Yes, that historical night where JuLeZz and I didn't know we were engaged. Who knew that the day we first met we'd be engaged not even 6 months later? Who knew that exactly a year after we met we'd get married? Heck, who knew that today we'd be here?

You wanna hear the story of the The Exclusives? You'll find it here. I shall re-tell the story another time.

Although it doesn't matter, but happy engagement anniversary anyway.

Never Knew

Over time, you see that things around
you don't always stay the same. Like people, your surroundings can change by the absence of another. This has been true, even if only for a day, due my sister's leaving to study abroad. Funny how you can feel that there's something missing at home. Or rather someone.

My wife said a few hours ago to me how the house feels rather empty now in the afternoon when how she got used to having someone, aka mimi, whenever she gets home. When I got home earlier, I realised how true that was. There was always someone there sitting in the dining room watching TV, or something making noise outside my room, in the kitchen, outside the house carrying laundry. Heck, sometimes some random music is playing somewhere until I realised it was just my sister's mobile phone. God, I think I'm gonna miss that. Never knew I would.

And even now, tears are falling down my cheeks for the first time. That, I never knew I would.

This post I dedicate to my sister. I wish her goodluck and all the best. Hope she has all the strenght in the world to hold on to everything there.

Enjoy the UK sister!

A Morning Support

I went to this Interzone Netball competition last Friday morning (yeah, I had to wake up really early for sports - which I'm not even in - surprise?) to give support to my wife's team. While doing that, I took some photos. Check it out.

And there's JuLeZz.

Picky or Just Plain Idiotic?

I wanna be able to blog again. Maybe, I'll find a few seconds right before I go to bed, like lastnight, just to share a few words here.

I'm at WyWy (Bengkurong I think) right now, having my lunch break with Anwar while waiting for the afternoon session of our Mac OS training. We just spent a good 20mins talking and catching up until I got bored of it - I'll tell you more about that in a moment.

This particular post is made available thanks to the existence of this Apple MacBook we've been using for our training. It sucks because there's no Java installed on this thing (have to remind myself to do that later), which therefore makes it a bit hard to blog and post stuff via this thing. As you can see from last night's post, I didn't have a photo attached to it.

Anyway, that's the boring bit. When I was talking to Anwar just now, he got to talking about his old job at a certain restaurant here as a waiter. The interesting bit is how he got to see the different kinds of people who go to eat at a restaurant. Imagine someone wanting a new teh tarik just because the one given to him earlier had lost its bubbles. I mean, seriously? The essence of that diabetic drink doesn't come from the bubbles. Some people.

There were more things he mentioned but I kinda forgot about them now.

Are you like that?
Or have you ever waited before and dealt with such customers?
Or have you ever heard of stories about customers such as that?

Please, share your thoughts on this matter. I'm interested to know.

That Apple Fanboy

Man, I have so much to say but I haven't got much time. I haven't blogged for so long. God, how I miss doing this. There has been so many times where I would just like to put the thoughts in my mind with ink, but somehow, I can only think of one thing: work.

Lately, I've been going to this Mac training course since the government is supplying Macs to schools. After we've done the course, we are to then teach others at work. Fun stuff? Not entirely.

I've used a Mac before, and absolutely loved it. But in the end, I prefer Windows. But this guy, the guys who was talking in front of the room, trying to show people what a Mac can do, just annoys the hell out of me. He says stuff like "Windows can't do this", "Windows can do that", "You don't have this in Windows". How biased can someone be?

Seriously though, I liked using Mac for different purposes but I prefer Windows, even though some times it gives me frustrations. Both sides have its own advantages and disadvantages. That's why Linux is the best! (kidding!)

Number Can't Show True Beauty

Just wanna take a minute out of my busy schedule to wish my wife a happy birthday.

Happy Birthday Miss Exclusive! ;)

Right, off to the birthday dinner.
